This Privacy Policy explains how Plume Cannabis (“Plume,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit plumecanna.com (the “Site”). The Site is an informational brand website. We do not sell products through the Site, and we do not ask you to create an account, sign up for a newsletter, or fill out any forms.

Who we are

Plume is a cannabis brand produced by Walden Cannabis, a licensed cannabis producer and processor in Washington State. Our website address is https://plumecanna.com. You can reach us about privacy matters at info@waldencannabis.com.

This Site is for adults 21 and older

Cannabis products are legal only for adults 21 and older in Washington. Before you can view the Site you must confirm that you are at least 21. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Information we collect

We collect very little. Here is everything the Site collects and why.

Age verification. When you confirm that you are 21 or older, we place a cookie on your browser named age_gate so you are not asked again on every visit. The cookie stores only a confirmation flag. It does not store your birthdate, name, or any other personal detail. It expires after 365 days, or sooner if you clear your browser cookies. If you answer that you are under 21, no cookie is set and you cannot enter the Site.

Server and security logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider and security software automatically record technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, the pages you request, the website that referred you, and the date and time of the request. We use this information to keep the Site running, diagnose problems, and detect and block automated attacks and abuse. These logs are kept for a limited period and are then deleted, unless we need to retain specific records to investigate a security incident.

Information you send us. If you email us or message us on Instagram, we receive whatever you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use it only to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence.

What we do not collect. The Site has no contact forms, user accounts, comments, shopping cart, or payment processing. We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or social media tracking pixels on the Site at this time. We do not intentionally collect information about your health, your cannabis use, or your purchases. If we add any tools that collect visitor data in the future, we will update this policy before they go live.

Cookies

The Site uses only the cookies listed below. All of them are necessary for the Site to work and none are used for advertising or tracking.

Our web fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading the Site does not send requests to third-party font services. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the age verification cookie you will simply be asked to confirm your age again on your next visit.

How we use information

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for targeted advertising. We share information only in these limited situations:

Links to other websites

The Site links to our Instagram account and may link to retailers that carry Plume products. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we do not control how they collect or use information. We encourage you to read their policies before using them.

How long we keep information

Server and security logs are kept for a limited period, typically no more than 90 days, before being deleted. Emails and messages you send us are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of our communications. The age verification cookie lives in your browser, not on our servers, and expires after 365 days.

Your choices and rights

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us at info@waldencannabis.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Because we collect so little, in most cases the only information we hold is any correspondence you have sent us.

Residents of Washington, California, and other states with privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not engage in cross-site tracking, so there is nothing to opt out of in that regard. Universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control are respected by default because the Site performs no tracking.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and we use security software that monitors for and blocks malicious traffic. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we handle.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the Site.
